Probably the first time in this tourney that i'm happy to lose my 15bucks.

firstly..
Kahn was allowed to play for the entire 90mins.
next..
2 goals were by the same 21year old german guy.
lastly..
figo played an important part by making a nice cross over to nuno gomes who headed in the only goal for portugal.

it's a change of seasons now.
a turning of a new era.
one without kahn or figo.
a nice farewell game.
for kahn to finally play.
for figo to lend a hand in orchestrating the goal.
brilliant finishes for them both.
ex-captains for their teams.
kahn was captain in the previous WC.
and figo's still captain.

scolari and klinsmann are such a joy to watch.
never thought i would enjoy watching the coaches.
but they're so entertaining!
unlike the french guy...grumbles.

I reckon in this match..both teams left as winners.
neither team was expected to make it this far.
they surpassed the expectations their nations had for them.

after HT, when the teams were coming back onto the field..
scolari was talking to klinsmann..
friendly banter..
with pats on the back and all.
nice.

i wish klinnsman would continue to stay on as coach
and scolari would stay with portugal..
tho..brasil might want him back.
