boo to the lousy call by the referee..
lousy refereeing.
bah.

it's now back to italy and france.
damm.
lousy world cup season.

but at least i can analyse the matches without getting too 'into' it.

and i also realise one of the reasons to the question..
Why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer..
right..
i found out that the factory workers...like those from m'sia.
they actually bet that portugal would find last night.
and..that's perfectly fine.
but..
the thing is...this guy bet $250!
SGD!

like..
man!!!!
i would NEVER do that with that kind of money.
on a single match.
on a single slip of paper.
NEVER.

i always believe in putting my eggs in many different baskets.
to spend my $25bucks on the germany vs italy match.
i spent the entire day at work calculating all the odds and configurations and permutations.
and finding the 'confirm' win config.
and..
after contemplating for ages..
i bought 10bucks draw and 15bucks 1 goal.
so..
i won..
4 bucks.
yay.
still money.

didn't buy for portugal vs. france tho.
told the world that if portugal wins..i'll not gamble for the rest of 2006.
and that includes daidee, mj etc.
but..since they didn't win..
i placed my bets on the portugal vs germany match already.
since i love both teams..
i placed very neutral and safe bets..
spent the day calculating where my 15bucks would go to..
decided on 5bucks draw, 5bucks 0 goal, 5bucks 1 goal.
was thinking of getting 10bucks draw, 10bucks 1 goal, and 5bucks 0 goal.
that would be 25bucks in total..
which is obviously a higher risk..tho that means more of a profit margin la.
but one lesson i learnt is NOT to be greedy.
what if stupid stuff happens like 2-0?
i'm not covered by 'insurance'.
tho i tried to factor in the total goal 2 as a 'safety net' of some sort.
but i end up with more losses.
so..
yar.
