Love is letting go of all your fears because you know your lover will accept them, will protect you. Love is not being joyful, but sharing the joy. Love is when the mere thought of separation rips your heart out. Love is one of those strong bonds that everyone knows of, yet no one can truly define. You can never know if in a certain moment you’ve fallen in Love, but you can always look back in time and realize that you did at that moment fall in Love. Love progresses and grows on its own if it is truly Love. Love is nurtured by being together, be it when surrounded by misery or joy. So long as Love is shared, it grows.

But the unrequited Love hurts more than can be imagined. Unrequited Love rips out your soul and tramples on it mercilessly. It can be accidental. It can be regretted. But unrequited Love helps you grow as a person.

You’ll never know if you truly fell in love, not until much time has passed and you can look back upon your past.
