Java chip.

Started my first lesson in Sunday School yesterday and it was really cool and fun..
Worship was REALLY different..almost all the songs were hyper and required ALOT of actions and bopping up and down.
heh.
'tis fun.

the kids were quite disciplined and all..they'll automatically arrange the chairs in rows before worship..and stack them up again after that...and they're only pri 1- 3 mind you..

and don't get me started on the way funky OHP...it's SO compact!
everything fits into this carryable thingamajig.
-amazed-

i've got the primary twos..and evan's dad is teaching them!
aunty kwok was saying..that's mr gong..and /lightbulb moment.. ohhhh..evan's dad ar?
heh
:D

learnt about trust in class..
trust is...i believe in you...faith...etc.
trust and respect cannot be demanded..it has to be earned.
and how do you know a person is trustworthy?
if your friend wants to borrow a pencil..then you lend him a pencil..and if he returns you after a while...you begin to build trust in him..
hurhur.
that's bringing the whole trust issue to the most basic level.
-grins-

and according to aunty kwok..i'm supposed to teach when september ends..which is..approx 2 weeks time!
-runs around like a headless chicken-

and there are so much more girls than guys in my class...counted only about 6 guys...about 1/3 of the class are boys..
i was assigned to sit with the girls..
who are quite interesting..
when it was time to do the worksheets and all..
this girl handed me a pencil with a grin..cuz i'm pencil-less..
pitiful i know..
and...
after a while..like 1 min or so..
she realised that i wasn't writing anything..
so..she promptly gave me the answers for the exercise...which was something along the lines of rearrange the pictures in order or something..
and i was like..
o.O
am i supposed to be insulted?
hurhur.

and they've got cute little notebooks..ok lar..not really cute..it's the usual book notebook that we use in primary school :D
the notebooks are meant to be used to write down the memory verse..and when you write that down...you get to choose a sticker.
heh.
and they're so excited over that!
you would have thought that they were only there for the stickers!
o.o

and as i was looking at them while sitted on my kiddie-sized chair..a thought struck me..
How many of them would still be in church by the time they're 20?
Me hopes that it'll be all of them..by then..they ought to be in YF i reckon..
(:

and on the way home..while waiting for my bus after a bout of coffee with a friend..
i saw this boy..prolly only pri 1 or 2?
he was wiggling his butt and dancing his head off to the music that the Equal roadshow was blasting nearby..
'tis was funny..and while i was silently laughing..his mum caught be stifling a laugh...and she ended up laughing with me..
he was really funny...butt wiggling and all..
/thumbs up
and that's when i realised that...i kinda really like kids..
heh.
